LONDON — Ashley Walters (Get Rich or Die Tryin’) has joined Jim Gillespie‘s kidnapping thriller Take Down,which has begun shooting on location in Wales and the Isle of Man.

He joins a cast that includes Jeremy Sumpter (Friday Night Lights), Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Phoebe Tonkin (The Vampire Diaries), Sebastian Koch (The Lives Of Others), Dominic Sherwood (Not Fade Away), Julia Ragnarsson (The Bridge), Max Deacon (Summer in February) and Elliot Knight (BBC’s By Any Means).

A couple of images from the set of Chiller TV’s currently shooting new original film, Animal, have arrived; and we have them for you right here along with some casting news. Check ‘em out, and look for more soon!

Animal comes to us from executive producers Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen and producers Chris Miller, Ember Truesdell, Kelly Smith, and Thommy Hutson for Flower Films. The film is written by Thommy Hutson and Catherine Trillo and directed by Brett Simmons; creature effects are by Gary J. Tunnicliffe. Keke Palmer, Joey Lauren Adams, Elizabeth Gillies, Parker Young, Jeremy Sumpter, and Paul Iacono star.

Synopsis
When plans for a weekend vacation hit a dead end, a group of close-knit friends find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a menacing, bloodthirsty predator.
